The Zero Jargon Approach To Building Muscle

As a Fitness Instructor I know that most people who use the gym are lost. For guys, the main problem is they want to know how to build muscle but they don't know where to ask. Today we're going to reveal to you the top proven methods for packing on some lean muscle mass in no time.

Today you'll get the proven, back-to-basics rules of building a muscular body.

Too many people are hasty in the gym and, in a bid for quick results, they overlook the most important factors in favor of spending their hard earned cash on unnecessary aids which don't do anything for them in terms of results.

Better still, you can workout without doubting yourself or your techniques because you know that everything you're doing is scientifically proven to work.

* Your diet should be tailored to building muscle.

* Get the basics of supplements down before you get lost.

* Focus your reps around your hypertrophy zone.

* Do not neglect to have rest days.

* Sleeping is great for muscle building results so don't sell yourself short here.

The five principles above basically detail how to get the body you may have always wanted. Follow them, set them at the foundation of your workout regime and reap the results for years to come. You can do more, of course, which will be discussed in future videos. But for now the basics will enable you to stop the plateau you're currently sitting in and push forward once more.

Next we're going to look at some of the steps in a little more depth to clear up any potential mix-ups or confusion because , in the gym, confusion is a results killer.

Most people assume that to get bigger you can just eat whatever you want. You should only do that if you're not bothered what type of size you're adding. If you want to stay lean as you grow, which most guys do, you need to set up a few basic diet rules to begin with. Multiply your target body weight, in pounds, by fifteen and this will give you a ball park figure to aim for each day.

The second area where folks find it easy to get themselves lost is supplements. It's easy to see why, too, with every company out there telling potential customers that their products are better than everybody else's. In truth you only really need to start off with the basics. The foundation of your nutrition should always come from your diet, hence the word 'supplement'. Use whey protein and creatine monohydrate supplements, everything else is unnecessary expenditure.

To write out your workout routine you need to remember two simple things. Firstly, big compound movements like bench press and squat are far more effective at building lean muscle mass than smaller isolation exercises like bicep curls. Secondly, your reps should fall into the hypertrophy zone and avoid the endurance zone. This means using a weight on every set which causes you to stop after 8-12 reps.

Suddenly you find yourself armed with the knowledge most gym members lack. Before long you'll probably be telling others the principles of how to build muscle effectively.
