Eliminate Acne, Do Not Live With It

In order to take care of your acne, experiment with not wearing makeup for a while if you normally wear makeup, or switch to water based makeup. Some make-ups can clog your pores, or aggravate troubled skin. Staying away from makeup all together is the best way to keep your pores clean and healthy.

Change your bed sheets often. It can help prevent worsening acne issues. As you're sleeping, the oil is transferring from your skin to your pillows and sheets. When you sleep on these linens again, they will travel back to your skin. If you wash your linens frequently, you will be able to avoid this.

If you change or launder your bed sheets more often, this, too, can have a preventative effect when it comes to acne. As you are sleeping, these oils get onto your linens. They can then transfer back onto your skin. Make sure that you wash your bed items often in order to avoid this constant transfer of oils.

When you are able to swim and the weather permits, by all means do it! Swimming is a great exercise to relax and develop your body. Swimming in a pool has another benefit, as some people find that the chlorinated water diminishes their acne.

Have you heard of salicylic acid? This compound, used in various skin care products, is one of the best treatments for acne. Combined with other ingredients, such as beta hydroxyl, it will help the skin shed cells rapidly.

Blemish sticks are a good way to conceal pimples. As its name suggests, a spot concealer is applied only to the areas you want to conceal. Blemish sticks go on thinner than a concealer. This helps the skin breathe a little better.
