Learning How To Successfully Reverse MS

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic disease that affects the brain and spinal cord, due to myelin damage. This damage can be caused by an autoimmune disease that brings on a number of symptoms. People with multiple sclerosis sufferer from imbalance, muscle weakness, astigmatism and tremors. Remission can occur temporarily. Thankfully today, there are ways to reverse MS, as discussed below.

One of the key elements in the reversal of multiple sclerosis is nutrition, as research has shown. That's because the mitochondria requires nutrients. The mitochondria are responsible for supplying energy to the cells, but in order to do this they need the right nutrients. The three top nutrients necessary include omega-3 fats, creatine, and coenzyme Q10.

Certain B vitamins, sulfer, and iodine are also necessary to not only slow the disease, but also to help the individual improve. Enter the Paleo Diet, which is completely different from the common Western diet that's loaded with ingredients that are certain to lead to chronic diseases. The problem with most people is that they don't get the real nutrients in their diet, and they get too much of all the bad ingredients that are harmful.

So, this Paleo Diet involves eating lots of greens, brightly colored raw vegetables, and sulfur rich vegetables. People should also increase their consumption of wild fish and grass fed meat. Having said that, this means avoiding the consumption of any regular cuts of meat. Furthermore, it is highly recommended to include seaweed in the diet, which will respond to the body's need for selenium and iodine.

But that's not all! It's absolutely necessary to stop eating any processed foods. These are loaded with ingredients that are dangerous and lead to so many illnesses. It's also necessary to stop eating starches, like corn and potatoes. Vitamin D levels should be increased, as most people are vitamin D deficient. Get out in the sun more often, use safe tanning beds, or supplement the diet with oral vitamin D.

Some more things to avoid include this artificial sweeteners and aspartame. These are extremely toxic, and are directly related to chronic neurological disorders. Aspartame is known to kill the brain neurons, which is the complete opposite of what antioxidants do. Antioxidants are crucial for optimum brain health.

For a complete reversal of MS, it's plain to see that one must change of many habits. The above mentioned are strong recommendations, but it doesn't end there. In fact, people have to reduce or completely eliminate sugar from their diet, especially sugar known as fructose. Moreover, the elimination of pasteurized cow's milk is necessary, as is commercial fruit juice. Instead, one must enjoy freshly squeezed juices, fermented vegetables and raw vegetables and fruits.

Finally, in order to reverse MS, checking one's mercury levels is important, and possibly undergoing a mercury detox. It's simply poisonous, and must be completely removed from one's body and one's diet. Large catches a fish should be completely avoided, and any dental work done with mercury must be corrected.
